Much of the division and hatred in society at the moment seems to be caused by an extreme in political correctness, do you agree? If you do agree, can we name and shame the perpitrators giving their names and address? What should we as a nation do? If you don't agree with me, please feel free to say as we are living in a free country and I won't sue you.

Absolutely agree with you. It really scares the heck out of me. It is a form of repression and that leads to war against the tyranny. At the moment people are still half befuddled by all their newly available possessions and not ready for a fight on many levels.
Reading Answers shows that there is a ground swell of strong articulate people who have had enough. If the "Answerers" cannot have voices they will not be able to control the less intellectually challenged in society and anarchy will set in

I agree. You challenge it by having the courage to speak out, both in your place of work (particularly) and in your social life. This is how it spread in the first place, like a malignant disease. It now has a momentum of its own. Of course, PC is a left wing control tool. Feminists, the disabilities industry, health and safety police, the race and sexual equality police, particularly like using it. You will find that many people secretly agree with you, but have been cowed by fear. Regrettably, the liberal/lefties in the legal system have encouraged it, together with the imposition of the ridiculous 'Human Rights Act'.

The whole system needs to be openly and honestly looked at. Political Correctness is actually racist and discriminatory in itself; in a true, racist free society, all peoples would be treated completely identically. To suggest that "X group" needs special treatment to make them feel included etc is highlighting and acting upon racial differences between "X group" and everyone else, and so is fundamentally racist to all parties. Of couse, PC people can't see this, and will shout you down if you try to argue about it...

PC ness stops communication by adding connotations to words that don't exist in the minds of most people. The problem is that it robs us of language.

The best way to deal with it is to ignore it and refute its proponents' lame arguments - I agree that the sooner this nonsense is stamped out the better.

PC is a major problem in todays world. At anytime someone can be sued for almost anything we have too many lawyers willing to sue for frivolity and liberal judges who judge irrationally

This too shall pass Grasshopper. Yeah PC is ridiculous and will be (eventually) recognized as such. Ignoring a problem will only make it worse and the old axiom you cant please all of the people all of the time will become apparent slowly but surely

by challenging p.c. WHEREVER YOU FIND IT.
say something like: i think thats a politically correct statement ...or: i think youre being politically correct.

someone once said: all it takes for evil to thrive is for good men to do[or.say] nothing.

have the courage to say what you think is right.

to those who say ignore it, id say that [metaphorically] by the time they come to burn down your house it will be too late to say anything.

we cant allow these people to set the agenda by saying nothing.
