when I try to select one icon, for example when I select my computer Icon and and when I try to select my document icon both icon simnetlesly and afer that when i try to refresh my coumputer did not work

too vague! what OS? any error messages when you boot up? Have you done a complete power down and restart? have you added a program right before this trouble occured? have you done a virus scan with an updated virus program? if it's a new PC call the number for tech support and have them walk you thru some tests or try to start it up in safe mode.

Download, update and run: AVG Antivirus, Spy-bot Search & Destroy, Windows Defender, and Ad-Aware (all free programs). Run them in the normal manner first, the re-run them in "Safe Mode" (F8 key after reboot and BEFORE WinXP loads).
