Not necessarily. I am a piano teacher with 50 students. Some go to public school and some to private. Many of these children I jhave worked with for several years, and had the opportunity to see them grow intellectually. I think it all depends on the school and the child.
Many of my public school students are just brilliant. Naturally they have supportive parents at home who have high standards. They are quite active in charitable organizations, music lessons, church activities, sports, etc. And many of the public schools here have fantastic arts programs. These children are very well-rounded and a pleasure to teach, just as my private school kids are.

I had my son in both private and public schools and there's a plus for each of them. The private school's had smaller class room's , meaning students in each class room, which helped I feel with learning since the teachers could work a lot more on a individual basis with the students. But the public schools had more variety on the classes which they could take. The private schools seemed to communicate more with me then the public schools. The public schools took the kids on more field trips which I felt helped them to learn more about things plus enjoy as they were learning. Now if you asked my son he'd probably say he liked the public schools better and his reason would be, because at lunch they had more of a variety then the private schools. :o) And no he was far from being a big kid. hee hee

There is really little difference when it comes to effectiveness between public and private schools when it comes to educating youth (where in reality its the public schools who usually rank as superior)- the difference is that the quality of students attitudes towards education that tends to exist with most private school students. People don't like to say it - but its really the kids themselves and not the educators or the programs that make the difference.
Good Luck!!!

both are effective, that is their purpose anyway. it just depends upon the student. it depends upon their way of understanding the lessons, learning style, and the like.
i am studying in a private school. it's effective for me. for me, honestly, it is more effective than public schools because in my country, public schools have a big number of students. it means they cannot suffice the needs of the student, so students can't learn many things because of the different factors hindering them from doing so.
that's it, well, it's only you that can answer the question. this is just my opinion.

sure!! there arent bullies in private schools because kids are posh and decent. the teacher student interaction is more good and the child feels easy as the teachers pamper and adorn them
