No. Suing everyone whose downloaded music illegally (who hasn't?) would take so much time and money it's best to just leave them alone.

Yes if the artists demand their rights
No if some free lance artists want their music to be downloaded for Fame.

In Japan we have shops where we can rent CDs and buy blank CDs to copy them, and we can even ask the staff to copy them for us. That does not mean anything - all we are getting is a copy - not the original. The original is what you pay for. A copy is a copy and does not in any way even resemble an original. Why all this fuss when cassette tapes have been available for so long?

Absolutely not. The prices they charge for a CD with ONE good song on it is ridiculous. Most of the time people just want the one song. Honestly, even .99 for it is a rip-off.

No, i don't think so. If they were to arrest everyone who has downloaded free music in internet, I and my friends would be in jail for all our life. :-)
