Priests are catholic, ministers tend to be from other demoninations of christianity e.g. Baptist. As such a catholic priest will believe that it's possible to save (send to heaven) a soul even after the person has died. Ministers believe that you need to be 'saved' prior to death.
In terms of bereveament support, if the branch of christianity isn't important, I'd turn to whoever I felt the most comfortable talking to.

I think a minister is from the protestant church and the priest is from the catholic church therefore, the priest before someone dies and are called on gives the last rites. The best plan would be to contact a local health visitor and they will be able to tell you. Even contacting the Citizens Advice. Hope this helps

There is no real difference bar one, A priest will counsel you strictly in accordance with the church but a minister is usually a family man and so will be able to give you understanding and counsel in a more wide and personal manner. Having family relationships has a broader area of comfort capabilities and advice and acceptance.

There should, in practice, be no difference. Priests and Ministers are different names for the same thing.

They offer both the same support but a priest and minister have different ways of blessing the coffin.

A priest will always tell you that someone is on pergatory, a place where they will eventuallly get to heaven - which is a lie to get the person to believe.
The minister will/should tell you the truth about what the Bible says in subtle, caring way and not blatantly lie to you.
The Bible teaches us that our destination after death is determined by the way we will now. The Catholic priest will tell you that you will all go to heaven.
It is all written. Just read it for yourself.
