I think he knew, if they had them they would have used them against Israel. Bush has a big ego and wanted all of us to think he is great. He did not know how to solve any of our other problems so he used a war to cover up the fact that he never should have been President. I could do a better job then him.

We found THOUSANDS of WMD's . The problem is that the liberals don't consider them WMD's , simply because they weren't made yesterday or the day before .
And you should really begin to READ the FACTS .
There is NO DOUBT that whatever WMDs Saddam could send into Syria. . ... .. . He did send into Syria. Read about the Bekka Valley and see what conclusion you draw from it !!!

I think he always knew there wasn't any such thing there. He had nothing to lose at the time for starting the war, which is why he did it. I guess he wasn't smart enough to think ahead a few years to the consequences of his actions when people find out that his war was built on lies. Wait.. I know that!
