She lives 40km away, I never speak to her but I have made a few calls over the last couple of years - not like I stalk her or anything!!! I just want to know why she wont even say NO or why she might or might not be interested in any type of friendship or not.

Dont take this the wrong way but everyone will not want you as a friend. Its the same way for everyone.Just think of it as she's the one who is missing out on knowing you. I'll be your friend!
