Liya79 suggested the ICSTIS website but I don't think it will cover 0870, 0871 and 0845 numbers, it only seems to cover the 0900 type numbers. Hope I am wrong on this.

Try any old telephone books you can find or old adverts, you might get lucky.

I obtained a proper number from saynoto0870 and found that it was blocked by a recorded message telling me to telephone the 0845 number, I think there must be some digital gizmo that can do this now.

If anyone finds a number cross reference that works then please look it up on saynoto0870 (any of the series) and if it is not listed the put it forward to help swell their database.
