There are several easy ways for sending money to Egypt;
1- Yes, there are many Western Union offices throughout Egypt. Some have offices inside banks, so they do have nation wide coverage. Check this site out for more details;

You do not need an account number to send money, nor any complicated paper work like banks. The catch is they charge a lot, but deliver the money on the spot.
2- Bank Transfer - simply have your friends send you their bank account number and just transfer the amount. It takes 3-5 business days to reach their accounts.

You can send money all over the world now through Western Union I send to Oz.You can do it on line or they have agencies in a lot of travel agents Thompson being one

I am from Egypt and there are western unions every where.
They need to ask again.

its western union not uonion. try your search again with the correct spelling. Perhaps, knowing how they feel about the west, they changed the name there to middle eastern union. Anyway is this money being sent to a terrorist organization?
