[aside fom narrying Tom Cruise!]... I ask because it was reported that before her Tom Cruise incarnation, she was a straight A student and had been offered a place at Colombia University which she deferred.
I just personally find her to be quite inarticulate [having watched some of her interviews] and she has a fixation with the word "exquisite"...

Initially I was impressed with her... over time, an watching her grow up, do interviews, make life decisions...
I began to doubt...
Then, marrying Tom Cruise - who's obviously a fruit cake - and becoming a Scientoligist...
Well - now I think she's a tad on the deranged side... if not an outright idiot...

I really don"t know what the big hype is about Katie and Tom getting married and them having a baby girl I dont see why people and the media cant just bud out and leave them alone .My views on this is that I really dont care what happens and what they are doing because it doesnt reflect on my life at all. I have other things in my own life to worry about then worrying about the stars .I wondering if anyone else can be honest with themselves and have almost the same views as my own.

Well if Colombia are taking people who are so evidently inarticulate then I am quite worried... and I'm based in the UK... one thing's for sure.. she'd never get into a top 5 British uni...she would fail the interview....

She's not very smart for allowing Tom Cruise and his Scientology freak cronies to take over her life and control every decision she makes. I think she'll regret it in later life, look what Cruise did to Nicole.

i think she is smarter than your average american celeb - think britney spears, paris hilton - i know, thats not saying much. i also reckon she is extremely ambitous - to the point that she is willing to marry in order to get ahead in her career - we shall be seeing more of her in years to come, she is now Hollywood royalty and will have her choice of starring roles. As for how I see her, she would probably not be much fun to talk to - she genuinely is devoid of personality and a conversation with her would be rather boring.(apparent from interviews) Katie reminds me of a girl i knew from school - not popular with the other girls, did not mix well although pretty - she was quiet and surprised everybody by getting top marks at the end... because of her looks she was popular with guys and she was not adverse to dating guys for a reason - she would date the smart ones for help with school work, projects, then dump them - she was very much a cold fish and katie holmes strikes me as very much like that.

Does she follow the crazy fake Scientology religion? Anyone who does so is a fool. It was started by a sci-fi author a few years ago and half of Hollywood have joined this idiot cult.
If she has not joined her husband in this farce of a religion then I credit her with wisdom. I will have to look at her more closely to ascertain if she is of high intellect.

She's intelligent even though she knew that her interviews was not really great, She go further after marrying Tom who was divorced with Nicole Kidman who was married to Keith Urban.
