Not everyone in America believed the lies. A lot of people felt it hard to believe that Iraq was any kind of threat to us.

Bush not only lied about it, he painted a picture of Iraq being the war on terror..... How does any Congressman vote against that and face his Constituents? Their main goal in life is to be reelected.

Now all of America is paying the price for the lies.

Congress voted for this war because the information that the CIA gave him. The same CIA that informed him of 9/11.
Do you know for a fact that there was no weapons of mass destruction? I don't.
I don't know if they were taken over to the Iran side.
The mistake here was time. He had the time to hide the stuff. However if President Bush didn't give him time people would be jumping all over him for it.

Woaw. It's amazing how stubborn and biased some people can be.
Of course Bush was wrong. The whole world minus the US suspected it from the start, and it has been proven now. No WMDs, does that ring a bell to you? And yes it is George, Dick and Rummie who have been pushing the WMD case all along. Congress and Collin Powel merely followed. If you don't have the honesty to face that kind of fact, you have a problem.
Besides, should I remind you that invading Iraq was illegal in the view of the rest of the world. That UN resolution that Bush used to invade was never meant to give him that power. He misinterpreted it against the will of rest of the world.
Of course I know those people posting these previous comments don't care much for what the rest of the world thinks. Until you realize that it's precisely the root of all your problems, things will only get worse.

Wow. What college district is that? Presidnet George W. Bush prosecuted the conflict in Iraq for countless motives. the single maximum widley know and least understood, advert to do with weapons of Mass Destruction. maximum persons think of that the belief replaced into to circulate inot Iraq and locate vats of weaponized botulism or almost finished nuclear instruments. in actual actuality much less concrete--Iraq had made consistent efforts to stymie inspections and had under no circumstances provided an entire accounitng of their WMD components. there have been such components that have been prevalent to be in Iraq in 1992 and in 1998, via 2002, the question replaced into what had occurred to those materails--what were destroyed and how, the place have been they, might desire to any of this is confirmed? Hussein had additionally given plenty help and help to terrorists. We were engaged in Afghanistan for nearly a three hundred and sixty 5 days and it replaced into prevalent that al Qaeda contributors have been fleeing--between the risk-free havens they have been fleeing to replaced into Iraq--partly the invasionwa approximately denying those havens and battling help to different terror communities besides suhc as Hamas and Hezbollah.

You are reciting "old history".
But for the record:
It was Congress that voted YES you know.
The President any one President can "jump-up-and down" all he likes.
Congress has to vote.
And they did!
Now instead of giving "good ol' George W" the business
about having the whole responsibility on this, how about some serious questions to our Congress?

Edit:
and about them been "duped", sorry I do not accept that all them Law degrees, political experience, access to all subjects, committees-sub-committees and etc...where not enough for those "poor" -'duped' reps of the people to take a "chill-pill" and examine the facts?
However how can one keep and maintain years in the SEAT ! ?. Perhaps, and I say perhaps? by collecting who knows what and how much for their campaigns, and personal so called gains?
Time WE wake-up!...and no-one give that C**p that the People have spoken. Because if they HAD ! they would of used their Constitutional Right to recall all of them "them b*****'s" (as George Patton would have said if he was here now), that Voted YES, and then went to send E-mails of congrats to each other...and some to their pages?.....LOL

So you are saying that congress is too stupid to make up their own minds or is that how democrats deny that they supported the war. America was not "duped" just those who believe that giving a nation freedom is wrong.

Basically, America wanted to believe their President was a good, honest leader. I will never trust him again. Further more, he has no right to complain about my attitude. My attitude is this: George Bush is a liar, criminal, and the worst President the U.S. as ever had. I trusted him ( against my better judgment ) when he said he had proof of WMDs in Iraq. I can't stand George Bush for betraying my trust.
