young people who end up doing pretty big things when they are pretty much just kids?

Figure katers- 18-20 yr olds going to winter Olympics!!!
Rihanna- singer, from Barbados, 18ish....
Panic! at the disco- musicians, 18-20's, Headines-headlineing tour-World tour all in their first 2 years
yes I know I mentioned some pretty popular acts, but its a big thing to me to see young people do so much already with their lives and grow up. Why do you think this happens to some and not others? Makes me feel like my time in college is somehow a time waster. Although I know I will make something of it.
anyways, what do you think about these kid-wonders!?

I think a child should be a child. Many parents push their children into "stardom" for the money and/or the fame. Check stories of child actors and know that their childhoods were taken away from them. If the child has unusual talent, let them first become an adult before they have to battle the elements!
Stay in school, it's the best thing you can do for yourself...really.

If you want to see kid wonders with amazing musicianship check out Decapitated's Winds Of Creation album. The drummer was 16, and the other members were 17-18.
Now that is AMAZING.

Yes its amazing, similar to Ian Thorpe in swimming, Boris Becker tennis or Wilfredo Benitez boxing. All child prodigies. You notice that they fade pretty quickly after the success. Maybe its because success becomes a burden.

those kids are lucky, they become famous and millionaires at such a young age. If only i took music and sports more seriously at a young age
