Why no budget from congress?

They did, in a sense...

They have a "cost-of-living" pay increase scheduled for February.

At least we have the peace of mind knowing that Congressmen will have a Merry Christmas, since they won't have to worry about those credit card bills.

We din't know they "ever had picked that ball' back up again, after voting YES on the Iraq issue.

Dirty politics. They dumped it in the laps of the "New Congress" as a distraction.
