OK the Darhma initiative is a group who study all kinds of social and paranormal activities. they discovered the magnetic force there it seems to give the island powers so they set up stations and manned them and studied the force and the people actually doing the studies to me they are mostly a Utopian society

No-one knows. But I really hope the writers do and that they've known all along and are not just making it up from episode to the next. That would be really disappointing after sticking with the weirdness for so long!

it's kinda blurry, i think even for the writers...but i think they were there as a social expiriment and got left behind. now they're all crazy, thinking they're doing the world some good, by carrying on without contact from home.

I don't know I have not watched that show since season one.
I think that it is a stupid show. It makes no sense what so ever.

To give that stupid show a plot! lol It's pathetic but my wife loves it so I have to watch it sometimes.
