Concerning reality in a philosophical way, the dictionary states :
a.something that exists independently of ideas concerning it.
b.something that exists independently of all other things and from which all other things derive.
6.something that is real.
7.something that constitutes a real or actual thing, as distinguished from something that is merely apparent.
This is what I take from these defintions regarding an example of someone with clouded perception:
For example, when someone has a view about something that has been distorted in their thinking from the certain things they've chosen to learn from some situations can be viewed as a clouded perception. Clouded perception can make a person fail to realize some things for what they reallly are, and what things really are, is reality.
However, there are many different ways of defining reality in a dictionary. Perhaps you should be a little more paticular when you're asking this sort of question.

There are many interpretations:
Reality could be "that which our senses perceive", although this is open to distortion, through drugs, illness, misperception etc.
In Buddhism, reality is an illusion created by desire (although why my reality isn't full of naked women and big piles of money I'm not sure!)
However it seems that the world of our experience is the real Mcoy. For instance, in science there are many discoveries, from the microstructure of the cell to the huge arrays of galactic clusters that were not imagined before they were discovered, and are consistent with the "usual" view of the universe.
Hope this helps!

Take a hammer and whack your thumb with it! Do you feel that? That is REALITY!! Now...take a camera and photograph the results of the whack to your digit. When the photograph is produced take a good look at it. It doesn't matter when, a Polaroid,a digital, or film print will show you the illusion. Because your thumb is still stuck on your hand and it hurts like hell. The photo on the other hand doesn't feel a thing.

The word "it" in your question is an indefinate reference. What is the it you refer to that can mean something by the word "reality"? Your question is not a well formed senetnce. For that reason, I am unable to give you an answer.
