No, RPGs are for everyone. But the Sims might be less violent than most.

Every RPG game has girl characters in them, and RPG's are for everyone.

PC-Sims2 is a great game. You can live your life, get a career, have pets, marry, have children, mantain your home etc. Its really engaging and appeals to all genders. I can't think of any that is a guy only RPG, RPG's are meant to appeal to everyone.

Gamecube-Animal Crossing is a great game, its cute and very addictive and you can choose between a boy or a girl character.

DS-Animal Crossing: Wild World-the DS version of animal crossing.

Gameboy Advance-Any of the Pokemon games now have the option to select either a guy or a girl character.

PS2-Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts II, any of the Final Fantasy games.

PS-If you can find it FFVIII has a love story(s) that run throughout the whole game. The two main characters end up falling in love and its a really great story.

I always enjoyed the Secret of Mana series - there are girl characters in these games. Actually, alot of the Square/Enix games like Final Fantasy have girl characters too. I would also suggest Paper Mario for Gamecube, which is really cute and friendly (if that's your meaning with RPG for "girls"). The old Zelda games (SNES/N64) are definitely worthy contenders (but hey I've always been a Nintendo girl lol). But, as someone mentioned, RPGs are for anyone and everyone. Plus there are so many great RPGs to choose from! Games like Animal Crossing for Nintendo DS or gamecube might be worth checking out too - no battles or demons here, just pure interaction/living in a virtual world :)

Not sure if that helps, but good luck!

Any girl game? Try the Nancy Drew computer games. They require a lot more thought than most video and computer games, because there's a lot of puzzles, etc. in them, but they're good for HOURS of entertainment. I always enjoy playing them with my sister and cousin, because everyone can help pitch in on solving the puzzles and interrogating your suspects.

A brief description... basically, you play as Nancy Drew, the famous girl detective, from the popular books by Carolyn Keene. In each game, there's some sort of mystery to solve, sometimes a hidden treasure, once or twice a kidnapping, in Stay Tuned for Danger you even had to catch someone sending death threats... To solve the mystery, you have to ask suspects questions, think about their answers, solve a plethora of puzzles, and pick up a bunch of clues and useful items. And at the end, once you discover who the villain is (you don't need to figure it out beforehand and make a guess, or anything), you have to figure out how to stop them. Oh, and if you make a mistake and get yourself killed (there's plenty of ways to do that in every game), there's always Second Chance, which will let you go back to just before you made that mistake, so you can try it again... as many times as you want.

There's thirteen games so far, and I've played all of them except Secret of the Old Clock and Secrets Can Kill. As far as favorites go, personally I like Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake, Danger on Deception Island, and Secret of Shadow Ranch the best. Nevertheless, they're all awesome games.

Occasionally, you'll get stuck on a puzzle... happens to everyone. I would recommend http://www.uhs-hints.com/ as a site to get hints from, because it gives you hints in small steps, so if you only need a little help you don't get a spoiler.

Hope my long-winded rant about my favorite games helps you, and I hope you give them a try! I think you'll like them.

Games designed specifically for girls tend to be very, very bad. In general, RPGs appeal to girls as much as to guys; read reviews and pick the good ones. I'd give specific recommendations, but you haven't specified a platform (Gameboy Advance? PC? PS2?)

The BEST girl games out there are also quite enjoyable for guys!

Xbox 360: Viva Pinata

PC: Sims & Sims 2

Gamecube and Nintendo DS: Animal Crossing Wild World

Hope this list helps you find the perfect holiday game this season!

Happy holidays! =)

"RPG's are for everyone". Yes quite true, it depends on what the person wants. Try final fantasy games.

Rhapsody for the PS1 (i believe that is what the name of it was..it was a music-themed RPG) is one to look for.

Also Kingdom Hearts for the PS2 is a good one. One of my ex-girlfriends got me hooked on it
