Alright, long story short..I'm separated..2mo's now. Ran into 1st love. He's just recently seperated. I've known this guy for almost 20 years. During our teen years, we just couldn't seem to get it together, he was more like a friend than a lover (which was a good thing). He was (and still is) a very handsome man with big dreams and a big heart. I always felt like there was someone better for him than me. That, what would he do with a loser like me..(ah, the teenage years.. how lovely) So, I stuck to the simple guys. At any rate, he's back into my life and I cannot stop thinking about him. We text each other almost daily. Whenever I look into his eyes, it is like coming home... Thing is.. I feel like I am always the one to call him or text him. Is it normal for guys not to call ladies? I mean, is there a guy code? Am I wasting my time? (ive been out of the guy loop for awhile) Should I chase him, let him chase me, forget him and move on? Guys, help me out on this one.

Yes, he is seperated.. He moved back down to his home town, alone.. Well, him and his son. His wife lives in another city. I've been to his house, no sign of any of her things. Believe me, I checked it out lol. I guess he is kinda shy come to think of it..

Take your time and get to know each other again. It may be true love.

Chase him, but I think from what I am reading he is interested in you or else he would not text you back. Also he may feel a bit out of the loop as well and my not want to hurt your feeling and still maybe getting over previous separation.

Just keep your fingers crossed...if you two really meant for each other...then love will find a way but if not...even though how much you tried to have him still you end up loosing him again. Just keep on praying...and hoping that the feelings is mutual between you. Good luck!

Go for it girl - if you still feel this strongly after this many years then you owe it to yourself to try -

Best case scenario: - Cinderella and her prince
worst case: - he says he's not interested (it may seem like it, but this would not be the end of the world)

worst worst case scenario:- he wants you and you want him and neither of you will go for it/or both of you are too proud to chase it and you miss out on your happily ever after - tell him what you are telling us (complete strangers)

If your saying your texting daily...............wait a couple days and see if he tex's u first.

If he's just newly seperated, are you 100% sure he is? Or just believe him?

Maybe if he is, he's out there looking around and seeing what is available.

OR he could just be very busy at work.

Your call.............but I'd wait it out and see if he contacts you

Its better if he chases you! i'd say play a bit hard to get, and have him fall more for you! Good luck
