River Cruise down the Thames for £37. Leaves the pier at 8:30 - and stops across from Big Ben for the fireworks and midnight celebrations then docks back at 1:30am.

Otherwise most clubs are open late and you can get a ticket for about £20 for most of them. If they ask you for more than £20 then don't do it as the drinks will probably be very expensive as well. Roadhouse in Covent Garden is doing a party this New Year with a different drinks promotion every hour as they see in the New year in every country. £20 a ticket.

You'll get stung anywhere you go on New Year's Eve. I think its an outrage that some pubs charge an admission fee for just getting into the blasted place!

Head down to the Embankment by the river - there's always plenty going on and a fair chance you'll get invited somewhere.

I am not a Londoner.

If I lived in London I would go to:

for their new year party. It is a nice place if you like this sort of thing.

The local pub with all your mates is a fun and cheap night out and you save a fortune on taxis!
Have a great night out wherever you go.

You will need to get tickets NOW wherever you decide.

I am going to a private party in a club I have been going to for years but still had to buy a ticket first to reserve my spot!.
