Watching the news this am there was a big bit about how the shops don't have enough to meet demand- are we surprised? They went on to interview a child who had tried to buy one only to discover that he wouldn't be able to get one until Wednesday- is this really newworthy. I'm sure he is dissappointed and his parents frustrated, but there's a whole lot worse that could happen!

That would be very sad, but I don't think he'd have lived an unfullfiled life as he hadn't played with his wii, but because he was too young to live his life fully.

nintendo will not say how many consoles are on theiw way to the uk. it could all be a load of hype, with 500,000 consoles due to arrive next week, or there could be just 100,000 due to arrive sometime after xmas. the people dont care are ebay and shops taking pre-orders. how fair is it for people to somehow get pre-orders for 10+ consoles, and then put them all on ebay on friday morning for £400+. Ebay shouldn't allow this sort of thing.

also if parents didnt spoil their kids and give in to these touts, this kind of thing wouldnt happen.

NO I don't think Wii care and if they don't get more in stock they are going to be losing a lot of money.
