Across the years I got 3 of them, the ink is always drying before I can empty the cartriges.

Is there a kind of experiration date that I could figure to use the cartriges before they dry?

Honestly that will be something you may need to time out. The time it takes to dry depends on the conditions of the area around the printer and the ink. They should however last at least 3 months, from there it's up in the air. If your in a hot and dry place, it may go in 3 months, if you live in a cool, a little humid and clean location then it can go for probably 9 months to a year. In most cases I've seen, if it hasn't been used for a year, chances are they have dried up.
