Which is the best mobile to be bought within a range of 5000 - 8000 Rs, in India?

Ok dude firstly i would suggest you take your priorities into consideration. By that i mean if you are an ardent music addict with occasional photography instincts then i would suggest The Sony Ericsson W810i and second option would be K750i. The sound output of SE phones is damn good (no comparisons at all with Nokia) and the 2MP Camera is also too good in terms of snaps quality etc. This phone surely fits into your mentioned budget( Right now the rate being Rs 10,900/-). The main advantage of this phone being that its a walkman tag phone so too good for Music and Camera). The camera of SE phones holds no comparison at all with any of the Nokia's N series (they suck big time). The picture quality and clarity is damn good. Plus with the remaining amount you can have a cool San Disk 1Gb Memory Stick Pro Duo to accomodate for your music forte. Secondly I would also suggest you have a look at the all new K790i, K810i etc because these cool new gizmos are loaded with 3.2MP cameras and good sound output as well. I have been using the W810i for over 3 months and believe me it is the best one can have. Last piece of advice by any chance please don't opt for Nokia phones coz they are damn slow along with firmware issues (slow OS, Easy Virus susceptibility etc) go in for Sony Ericsson only. I also truly agree on what Electro has stated over here.

there is nothing best in the mobile phone industry. You can even get a set worth 15000/- for Rs.8000/- in the second hand trades, For CDMA LG Juke box is the best option worth 8000/- and for the GSM option go for a range of NOKIA handsets. Contact your dealer for the second hand sets also available. You can get a better offer there.

* K310i - VGA Camera, 12 MB Internal Memory, Infrared(very weak),
Mp3 and 3G capability - It costs abt 5000
* K510i - 1.3 MP camera, Bluetooth and IR. Don't know about memory- i think u can't expand it

wonderful FM sterio or
with memory slot..bluetooth bla-bla-bla..

for ur info all cost around (9000/-)
since already u r close to 9k, then whats big deal bro
to buy one from elitr category,

bcoz what u'll get in < 8000/- is only wastage of money,
