Ever since someone i know has been on BC shes been more moody is this normal? cause of the hormone changes?

Also:
say if you have your period at the end of your pack of bc (end of january).

forget to buy a new pack for about a week or two and start it then.
is it normal that it wont come exactly at the same time (end of month) but possibly later then the end of "febuary" (which is over a month since the last period)?

In answer to your 1st question. Yes, she is most likely on either too strong or too weak of a dose. Either way, the hormones are off.
In answer to your 2nd question. If you forgot to start your new pack and it had been that long, you should either wait until the Sunday of the week your next period ends, or the 1st day of your next period to resume depending on what the original start instructions were.
Good luck! HTH

The pill causes "moodiness" in some people as a side-effect; similar to PMS, but this is usually only a problem in the first few months of a new pill. If she is feeling depressed or anxious after a few months then it is worth trying another brand.

When you miss pills at the start of a new pack - then you have gone 7 days without active hormones and so contraception is compromised. When starting again, other means of contraception must be used for the next 7 days. And as for next period - when on the pill; women do not get periods as such; they just get a withdrawal bleed when they stop the active tablets; and so if she takes them for 21 days before 7 day gap; then this is when the bleed will start - so yes, end of feb sounds right

If your friend has missed her BC for a couple of weeks she would have had her period before she started the next lot.... Being moody is a part of the female hormone cycle. Some people suffer from it and some people don't. By the way, I am Jocko's wife so don't think you are getting this info from a male!

Yep that's normal, it's just the side effects of starting BC pills. Her body will get used to it. If you don't take the pills regularly, your period won't be regular because you are messing with the hormones that affect your period.
