I had asked a question regarding my neighbors' health and I felt some of the answers were unkind. Certainly she asked her dr. what she could eat in order for her surgery to heal properly. A lot of it was in the dairy field and she cannot consume dairy prooducts. They are very distasteful to her. I was only trying to help. It makes me hesitant to ask another question in the future,

You have to understand that the group here using yahoo answers are in a young generation and they come here mostly to entertain themselves.. They arent really serious, also they want to wrack up points..
Id advice that if you want any serious medical info, Dont take anyone serious here, go to a doctor,clinic, or nurse to ask...
sorry, but dont let that keep you from using yahoo answers.. Its a fun place to relax for most of us..

Don't take it personally. I try to show compassion in all of my replies, but sometimes may joke but I'll put a ;) or something after it.
A lot of people feel macho on the internet. Just be thankful for the good answers you get and ask more questions! :)

I agree with you. Yahoo Answers get so many people who has nothing good left for them- they are miserable and they are happy to make other miserable by using this site. I call these people WORTHLESS. My suggestions to you is to skip these worthless people and just focus on the few that took their time to write an advice for your friend who was ill. I hope you were able to help that person with the help of good people with good intentions to helping others. For those who hurt your feeling, the WORTHLESS ones, they can go and jump on lake!

Don't take it personally. Everyone gets treated like that here. The anonymity of the internet allows people to be honest about how they feel. Some of it's ugly.
