There was a song in the 1980's by a band called "Doctor and the Timelords" that was called "Doctor Who". If Doctor Who is not to do with time I don't know what is!
There was "Turn Back Time" by Aqua (featured on the film Sliding Doors).
Cher also did a song called "Turn Back Time"
That song Boyzone covered "Father & Son" is about time and "Cat's in the Cradle" (by Harry Chapam I think) is another song about time and growing older. The Beatles "When I'm 64 is about growing old.
Tom Waits (who is just fantastic) sings a song called "Time" on his album Rain Dogs. It's a cracking little tune.
In the Rocky Horror show (and in a pop version by Damian) we all did the "Time Warp" again. It's just a jump to the left!
In the distant past the Rolling Stones sang "Time is on my side" which is looking less true every time I see how old they look.
Rita Coolidge sang the Bond theme "All Time High" as did Louis Armstrong "We have all the Time in the World".
And of course while Dirty Dancing "I've had the Time of my Life" is the traditional accompanyment.
And old Morrissey sang "These Things Take Time" when he was part of the Smiths.
Well that's all the my music folder on my PC has to do with time. I hope this is of some hgelp.

This is an oldie but a goody. .
In olden days, a glimpse of stocking
was looked on as something shocking.
Now heaven knows, anything goes.
Good authors too who once knew better words,
now only use fourletter words writing prose,
anything goes.
The world has gone mad today,
and good´s bad today, and black´s white today,
and day´s night today,
When most guys today that women prize today
are just silly gigolos.
So though I´m not a great romancer,
I know that you´re bound to answer
when I propose, anything goes.
and here is another ;-
This day and age we're living in
Gives cause for apprehension
With speed and new invention
And things like fourth dimension
Yet we get a trifle weary
With Mr. Einstein's theory
So we must get down to earth at times
Relax relieve the tension
And no matter what the progress
Or what may yet be proved
The simple facts of life are such
They cannot be removed
You must remember this
A kiss is still a kiss, a sigh is just a sigh
The fundamental things apply
As time goes by
And when two lovers woo
They still say, "I love you"
On that you can rely
No matter what the future brings
As time goes by
Moonlight and love songs
Never out of date
Hearts full of passion
Jealousy and hate
Woman needs man
And man must have his mate
That no one can deny
Well, it's still the same old story
A fight for love and glory
A case of do or die
The world will always welcome lovers
As time goes by
Oh yes, the world will always welcome lovers
As time goes by
Both pretty famous in their day Good luck with the play.

Cher - Turn back Time
Time is on my side
'big yellow taxi' doesn't mention time but is about how things change, and how the heart longs for the old ways once again. I like it and it might be a good song!
good luck!

"Back in Time" by Huey Lewis and the News. It was the other song from Back to the Future besides "Power of Love." Both great songs though.
