Serious question here..

Do you know any tricks to get a baby to take it's bottle? My youngest child is 17 weeks old and I flat out can't get her to take a bottle. When she was born she was under 2lbs so she is still really small & I am stressing/freaking out. So any tips at all that worked with your kids on getting them to take their bottle would be great!! Thanks ahead of time!

**Sorry for the post in here but newborn/baby section was really slow..**

if the baby likes pacifiers then let the baby suck on that for a few minutes, then change to the bottle. also, try putting a few drops on the babys lips maybe that will get her interested in it. or maybe shes just full right now and you need to try again in an hr or so....when they are hungry believe me...they will eat. good luck and congratulations

Have you tried several different types of bottles? My daughter would only use playtex but my son preferred Gerber. There is such a difference in the nipples, that it could just be that the baby does not like the feel of what you are offering.

Good luck.

My daughter is now 6 months previous, and that i'm not confident if I qualify as experienced, yet i have tried out a large number of diverse manufacturers of diapers. I looooved Pampers Swaddlers, because they were in order that tender and worked splendidly. I loved them, yet unfortunatly they're slightly expensive. yet now i exploit the objective style. large lower priced, and they were large! they're tender, they in nice condition quite good and do not look to annoy her or some thing. the in elementary words downfall is the tabs can come off kinda somewhat. yet i purchase a container of 104 for type of $13 money. can not bypass incorrect there! The worst diapers for me were the Huggies. I only concept they felt difficult and scratchy.

Try different nipples on the bottle. A small baby may not like a small nipple. And, my kids didn't like all the different kinds of formula. Try other brands....Good luck Mommy!
