I'm assuming that you are in the UK, in that case it's probably both, unless you can convince a magistrate that you need to keep your licence (like if your job depends on it).
Also, how were you 'caught speeding'? Were you pulled over? Or did you get caught by a fixed/mobile (s)camera?
There are massive legal problems regarding speed cameras in the UK and how they attempt to prosecute you, visit www.pepipoo.com and join the forums, the nice people on there might be able to help.

Sorry, but if you do the crime you pay the fine. As someone said kill your speed not a child. Learn how to drive properly, you may have passed your test but you are still inexperienced, it won't be very cool if you have to start using public transport! Remember these speed limits are there for a reason. Learn from this, if you must speed, pay for a days experience on a race track.

If you're in the UK, 6 points within 2 years of test = licence revoked and you have to start all over again, i.e obtain new provisional & retake tests.
Serve you right, I'm afraid.

No, just 6 points on your license if your in UK. You'd olny lose your license if it were in the first 6 or 12 months (not sure which) after that you get a 10 point allowance.

i do not realize why you've been penalised. in case you had contacted the coverage employer and were waiting for his or her documentation, the police oftentimes grant you with a producer meaning they ask you to grant data of the coverage being in position interior a week. it ought to have given the coverage employer time to positioned up the documentation to you, and that you'll get to the police station. i ought to signify that you contact the DVLA. Its perfect to get it checked than to imagine you're okay to emphasize and then be pulled with techniques from the police back in elementary words to ensure that you ought to be resitting your try. more advantageous suited to be secure than sorry!

In texas as far as I kow you won't have your license suspended. But your insurance premiums are liable to go up.
Slow down, why don't you please. You are endangeringthe lives and welfare of innocent adults and children. I cannot count the number of times some jerk has almost crashed into me because he was going too fast.
Be well.

both- sorry
You get disqualified, have to start all over again.
Then- for christs sake- do NOT get caught again in the next 2 years after that or it is TOTAL ban for years!
Good luck mate, hopefully there was no film in the camera
