Is it "0.33" ( which would be 1/3) or "27"?
Explain the process and please explain Why I got the "other" answer. I know the order of operations but I am doing something wrong. It's been a while since I've been out of school and this is stupid pre-reqs. Thanks Guys

People are telling me that my questions shows PARENTHESIS but there are none. "/" is the symbol for divide so the real questions is 16 -10 divided by 5 + 13. Sorry for the confusion and thanks for all the aswers!

there are no parenthesis. The problem shows as 16 - 10 "divided by symbol" 5+13. The majority says 1/3 but another way of doing it shows 27. so, SHOW THIS WAY, what is the answer. Lol, Thanks guys.

simplify:
6/18
reduce:
1/3 = answer
or if you want, you can divide 1/3 and get 0.33.
either way is fine.

Does the division symbol extends throuth the total expression or just part of it ?
If the divisiion symbol is 10 / 5 only, this makes a differance. Division come first then addition and subtraction.
