The Beatles performed live as recently as 35 years ago; I sure hope there are lots of people older than THAT. I didn't see them live, but I DID see their very first appearance on the old Ed Sullivan show when I was a little kid :-)

My mum saw them playing in Lewisham, south London, when she was about 13 or 14. She didn't hear them, by all accounts, despite her being in the third row. The screaming drowned everything out.

my brothers wife did a few times along with the doors and janis joplin opening for led zeppelin.she was a teenager in the late 60s early 70s and still around.

i was young, but i remember seeing them on the "Ed Sullivan Show " for their first live performance in the U.S. my father freaked!!!!!!!!!! all he could say was@$@^#&#%@!$ hippy long hairs. myself, i think they were the greatest. i think it was 1962 or 63.
