Gmail doesn't have blocking per se; what it has is the ability to apply filters. The closest thing to blocking someone in Gmail would be to apply a filter to a particular address coupled with a "rule" to delete it upon receipt. If someone has done that to you; then what would happen is that your mail would immediately go into the trash bin and the recipient would never see it. (providing he/she didn't look in the "Trash" folder). You wouldn't get a notice that that happened.

Hahaha. Oh, easily. If i'm speaking with somebody, and that they are redundantly rude or risky to the element at which i've got self assurance i ought to dam them, I frequently respond a final time and end it by employing announcing something like, "i'm no longer attracted to pursuing this communication, and plan to dam you. as a result, I ask which you do no longer touch me sooner or later." yet sending a "Nananana boo boo, I blocked you! So yeah! I guess you sense all harm now!" message is the two immature AND juvenile.

It will go through as usual. One way to test it is to send them an e-card or something to that extent that allows you to "confirm" that your recipient has received your card.

You won't get an immediate definitive answer, but if you don't get a reply that means they are either ignoring you, or have you blocked.
