Same thing I'd look for in anyone: stability, kindness, patience, understanding. People who will love me, care for me, support me in life emotionally. No difference whether gay or straight.

(how do you know if a gay has broken into your house?-you have new curtains!)
if i was in a desperate situation and i needed someone to take care of me, then i would probably expect everything that a child wants in parents. love and guidance in life.
but, if i was myself, and i had my own opinions and i think that gays can do whatever they want unless if they don't do anything in public, then i probably would want to get switched into a heterosexual family.
