Usually if I hurt myself in public by tripping over or stubbing my toe I mask the pain with laughter to save my embarrasment.
I will often do a theatrical curtsey too as if to thank my audience for watching me.

No, but my husband has stubbed his toe so hard it has made me laugh! I usually cry when I stub mine...I have a very low pain threshhold.

Hell, yes! Just last winter I smashed my big toe on the side of a transmission that was on my kitchen floor. My toe nail came off and it bled all over the damn house. It hurt so bad I crapped my pants and cried like a girl! My eyes are watering just remembering it!

Oh!! No I haven't.But my man did,and broke his toe.He certainly wasn't laughing. He hadn't realised it was broken, and worked all week.It happened at New Year,he was running to the toilet while drunk. He missed the opening, and crashed his toe full force against the wall.

Yeah, it is the kind of laugh that you hear the villian make it horror films. Great stuff those pain stimulated endorphines messing with your brain chemistry!
