Okay I was putting some headphones into my ipod (not the ones that came with it), and the little tip of the headphones detached from the base and is now stuck in the headphone jack of my ipod... it sucks because now I can 't use any headphones to listen to it. How should I get it out. I tried tapping it out, but it's firmly stuck in there. If I go in there with a thin wire, which I doubt will work anyways, can I get an electric shock?

Because of the casing on ipods you have to take it to an ipod dealer that does repairs. They'll have to open it up to get to that part. There are some websites that sell do it yourself kits for replacing the battery's in ipods and it comes with a special tool used to pry it apart. The problem is, do you really want to take the chance of doing it yourself?

How did you manage to break it off inside? I would ask someone who is mechanically challanged to just take it apart for me and take it out. No, you can not get shocked. The batteries just are not strong enough.

It's best to bring it back to your seller or maybe you could just ask for assistance with someone capable of such simple matters, don't do it yourself if your not sure..
