I'm done with my cycle of BC but I don't have another pack. I need to start Sunday and won't be able to get more until Monday. So, will it mess you up and get pregnant if you just miss the first day? What if you want to skip your period, where you skip the placebos and start a new pack with the last dark blue pill? If you're a day late will it mess you up?
Also, are those Planned Parenthood, health clinic type places open on weekends? Because if they are then this solves everything almost.

Missing this pill will compromise your contraception! If you are from Oz or UK - your pharmacist can give you an emergency supply of the pill (just 1 month) - otherwise if cant see dr or pharm; then monday take 2 pills and use another form of contraception (condoms) for the next 7 days.
In regards to skipping periods - just skip the sugar/inactive tablets each month and keep going with actives - studies have shown no harm in doing this.
Do try to see doctor/family planning clinic tho - is always good to talk through your options.

I have had the same problem before and have had to take the sunday pill early monday morning and the monday one late at night. I have done this about 3 times and haven't had any problems. I guess just be careful. About your other question, i would not recommend skipping the placebos. If you are on a regular 28 day pill pack, this might mess your hormones all up. If you dont look forward to your period ( who does) you can try a brand of pills called seasonale. when u take these pills, you only get your period once every 3 months.

Skipping any of the pills other than the placebos could result in pregnancy. Get your refill ASAP but to be on the smart side use another form of contrceptive for the month til you're back on schedule.
