What is the nicest compliment you have ever recieved, stranger or not?

It was from someone I saved from drowning, it was from the boys mother, "THANK YOU for saving my sons life" through tears. My Retort : "Ah Forget it, I needed to bathe anyway" ! I did have my 15 minutes of "FAME" on the news that night, I was humble, and just glad to be able to prevent a tragedy ! Right Time, right place, right man ! I did the "RIGHT THING" mom !

While in a grocery store, a little boy (four or five) walked by me with his dad - they were holding hands. He was staring at me and then he said, "Dad, when I grow up I'm going to marry her." That's the best compliment.

A former boss told me I was "a wealth of useless information". I take that as the highest compliment because I know so much on so many subjects...hence my "wealth".

Actually it was this evening.....It was from my step-mom....she told me I was a really special person....I just love her...she's more like a best friend rather than a step-mom....lol...
