Deals with how journalists structure the news story - what narrative device OR APPROACH was used by journalists in composing the story. For example, was the story built around the conflict inherent in an issue or was the story built around the points of agreement among those have an agenda in an issue.

They are basically the same thing. If I write a story about freedom fighters fighting an invasion I am suggesting that the "freedom fighters" are the good guys, and "the Invaders" are the bad guys, and have framed what you are supposed to think about them, without even telling the where or who, or even when.

If I right about how the terrorists are keeping the good guys from bringing freedom to (wherever) I could be writing about the same thing but want you to take the opposite side.

If I want you to oppose an idea that you might like, like having the freedom to make choices, I can call it shallow selfish individualism devoid of higher principals, or I can just call people who are actually working to allow you to make your own choices, wild extremist radicals and carefully not tell you any of their actual ideas.
