crying babies, cell phones, bad movie...
What was your worst theater experience?

I went to see this movie about a year ago and about 15min in, this family comes in with 2 young kids and a baby. It's an R-rated movie, why are they bringing kids?!!
A couple of minutes later, the man gets a call and then ANSWERS IT RIGHT THERE. The douchebag talked for about 15-20min in the loudest voice imaginable, meanwhile his kids are running all over the place.
Seriously, there should be a ban on cell phones at the movie theater... and kids at R-rated flicks.

My best friend and I went to see a cute chick flick when these 2 teenagers (like 14) sat like two seats down from us. Yah, that's cool, until they start making out the whole entire movie slobbering and slurping all over each other and then we look over and her head is in his lap and she is "pleasuring" him if you get my drift. I was totally disgusted and would be pissed if I was their parents!! I couldn't believe it and it was a horrible experience!!

Another time recently we were in a theatre and this group of young teenagers sat behind us and were talking and laughing the whole movie (it was a drama!) and they were eating really loud and noisy and answered their cell phone DURING the movie and talked really loud (similar to your story) I could not believe it!! I was like HOW rude can you possibly be. So I turn around and give them a dirty look and the girl gets up to leave and kicks the back of my chair!! I was so mad! People can be so rude sometimes!!

And I totally agree..I don't understand why people bring children and babies to R rated movies, get a babysitter or don't go see an R rated movie. It's rated R for a reason. I went to see Passion of the Christ and there were small children and babies everywhere and they were crying causing a disturbance. It's just not a suitable environment for young children/babies.

it was a scary movie and these 4 loud, crazy obnoxious chicks behind me kept screaming and jumping every time something even remotely scary happened. They kept kicking my chair when they would jump and they kept yelling stuff like, "Do you think he will die next?!" They spilled some kind of candy all over the floor and it went rolling all over the place and when they weren't screaming or kicking me or jumping, they were talking and saying how they weren't staying alone at their houses that night!

I saw The Blair Witch Project and I almost got up and left because the movie was very boring, and all the running while filming with the hand held camara nearly made me sick.

1990. Ice storm in Des Moines Iowa. We went to see "Glory" because the temperature in the theater was 40 degrees, which was ten degrees warmer than our apartment. Movie was terrific, but we about froze.

when i went to see harry potter 4 and the theater was COMPLETELY full. then these obnoxious kids that were around 10 years old can up to us and took the seats next to us. i tried to explain to them that they were saved and my two friends were coming right back, but their mom was like, "this is a full theater." and sat her big @ss down and one of the ten year olds sat next to me. he spilled popcorn on my coat and said "sorry" like he didn't even mean it.
plus they made alot of mistakes in that movie. i was really mad when i left. i didn't get to sit with my friends and they messed the movie up.

Valentine.

My dad and his friend and i were watching it and they started laughing and making fun of the film. So a bunch of tough-looking Asian guys turned around and said:

"SHHHHHHHHHHH!"

With an evil grimace.

And that only increased my dad and his friends' laughter.

Yeah, it was pretty bad.

And the time my dad fell asleep at the Tigger movie and started snoring.

I'd have to say it was going to see the Polar Express with my daughter's school. I like kids and everything, but only in moderation....and that wasn't it... lol
