I am a writter and have written alot of short stories, and long stories, but never have the right ending, so they are never finished, but I need a new plot, or story line for a new story, anyone have any ideas? 1: Nothing stupid.

I usually write romance stories, action and adventure. If characters are given, I would appreicate it if you have details and attitude, character traits about them, or past life. =) Thanks!

I've got a great story for you.
Open up with the main protagonist (you) finding a severed finger in your back garden.
At first, you don't think it's a finger, you think it's a sausage or something a passer-by has thrown over your garden fence. But when you bend down and take a closer look, you see it really is a finger, a HUMAN finger, and on it, is attached gold ring.

There is blood and gristle splattered onto the surface of the ring. You run into the house and get a rag to clean the ring up, and when you do, you discover it's the gold ring that you gave to your boyfriend twelve months ago, someone who mysteriously disappeared off the face of the earth the day after you gave him the ring as a token of your love.
Suddenly, as your pondering the possibilities of what happened to him, you receive a knock at the front door. You run through the house and open the door. And there standing in front of you are two police officers. They both have serious expressions on their faces...

As an experienced writer who could teach creative writing, I offer this comment: If someone provided the information you list in your literary inquisition, then they would be at best to go on and write the work themselves. In a sense writers are pioneers. You have to find your own way to lead in your writing—not follow.

However, based on one of my several self-created preliminary formats for my writings, I suggest that you: 1. Select a subject matter to write about. For example. Frogman. 2. Gather the definition of frogman from several dictionaries and thesaurus if possible. 3. Answer these questions as best you can with frogman in mind – Who? What? When? Where? Why? How? 4. Incorporate the dictionary definitions and answers to the latter questions into a paragraph. 5. Formulate that paragraph into your story. Hope this helps.

I'm a comic artist and writer and normally i would get ideas from experience and everywhere around me. The surroundings, the nature, birds, clouds, animation... anything you can think of. :)

I have this lame idea. Maybe u can try it out. It's about a youth who just finished high school and he's some sort of a juvenile. He always ends up in trouble here and there. No one can actually tame him but everything changes when he met an old man who can actually get thru his head. But it takes time to realise it.

Well just an idea. You can work it out. ^__^

You can always make a "story about making a story". Mix topics. I love philosophy with romantic comedies, like destiny, future, "the right guy", the butterfly effect applied to real life situations... you know
