This has turned into another Viet Nam. Did we learn nothing from that fiasco? How can you change the culture of people who place no value on human life?

That's a no-brainer. All you'd have to do is put uniforms on Bush's daughters, put a rifle in their hand and send them to Iraq. The war would be over and the troops pulled out that afternoon.

I guess you don't like being able to go to bed at night feeling safe and secure enough to believe that you will be able to live through the night to see the next morning. Would you prefer trying to sleep in a war zone here in the states and wondering if/when someone would bomb your city while you're praying for an end to the chaos?

With all of the fighting that is going on over there, that is what mothers, fathers, children, everyone gets to deal with day in and day out. Our troops are there to try and help police the situation while their government tries to rebuild itself. If it wasn't for the US and all of our supporters, then 9/11 would be a weekly occurrence at least somewhere in the world. Yes, there are still reports of suicide bombers, but these incidents are on a much smaller scale and are not occurring nearly as often as they were.

You should be thankful for the security you have verses being overly critical of things you don't completely understand.

Not a thing, if you are happy with the notion of Taliban and al Qaeda taking over the country, recovering the WMD materials from Syria, and constructing a nuclear bomb to blow up New York City.
