great statement friend:
please do us all a favor and tell these people to point which way to Al Qaeda headquarters in their countries instead of hiding and aiding those cowards?

Good question, why would it have been bad to have nuked both countries so their Dr. Khan and Bin Laden can't make and distribute bombs for that purpose to all nations or terrorist groups? Because it's TOO LATE NOW. The geni's out of the bottle, assination of leaders instead of trying to fight a conventional war against guerillas is the better option, to heck with "Geneva", they aren't doing anything about the enemy, just tying our hands. Afghanistan is starving because the main crop is poppies, and that is what funds the Taliban. Holding Al Qeuda responsible is fine, but as long as they are hiding behind women and children of those countries you have to do tthe work on foot. when they capture someone who knows something, they have to be careful not to violate their "rights" interrogating them, no matter how many lives it might save. the mistake is ever letting them go to complain about their "inhumane treatment". If the Russians can off their critics with radiation poison in public, why are we playing around having tea and cookies with these miscreants in the Middle East?

Of course, we hold Al-Qaeda responsible. Also the government of Afghanistan, because they harbor, support, condone the terrorist activities. The unfortunate horrible result is war. And even worse is the innocent civilian deaths. But even worse than that is the notion that appeasement is a viable strategy with terrorists. Al-Qaedaa, and others like Hezbollah and Hamas, hide behind civilians and purposefully kill innocent people. While coalition troops and innocent civilians have died by other friendly troops, the notion that doing nothing but sanctions or reprimands seems naive at best, and probably fatalist.

al-Quaeda and the people of Afghanistan and Iraq have nothing to do with it. The Canadian troops are in Afghanistan to keep oil prices up. Why it is their business to do so I don't know.

Yeah this is a hard war to fight. If we continue to fight these sick bastards with our hands tied by political correctness we aren't going to win it. Is it just if Innocent's die in order for us to win the war on terror? I hate war yet there are always some who think they should rule the world. And if our so called leaders are more interested in the welfare of detainees then they are about the hidious crimes against humanity they do then we are in for a nightmare. We can't talk to them like the idiot so called Iraqi study committee is going to do. It should be very interesting to see how this all works out. Scares the hell out of me lol

They are soldiers. You can pretty much expect that they will meet lethal resistance. If not, they would be called diplomats and not soldiers.
