Racist?? What are you, stupid? Elvis was the furthest from being a racist.....he acknowledged he got his rhythem and his style from his black idols from Tupelo Mississippi. Duh. Racist?? Anyhow, of course I love Elvis, he is the King of Rock N Roll and had a most excellent sense of humour. He was just controlled by his manager unfortunately which purposely kept him on drugs to control his welath. Disgusting, yes. Elvis Presley is the little boy from Mississippi that made good to his friends and to his family, he was a gentleman and was a better singer than people might imagine. He sang gospel, country, "pop" and rock and roll. If it wasn't for him many african american performers would not have come forward or even been successful which led to more and more talent coming forward. be well, Jack

Well he was before my time but I like his music and I enjoyed some of his movies and even though he was a Idol he was kinda weird which then brought him down a level or two.

i sat on the front row when he came to Lubbock texas a couple yrs before his death. When he was young man he was pretty......loved his movies....but when to the concert cause my older siter loved him and she still does........I have lots friends who really love him....go to Graceland, buy his, cups, shirts, lunchboxs etc............but I really liked the Beatles and so Elvis is ok........but fab four..........now thats music

I liked him somewhat....not a hardcore fan....I like his Christmas carols most of all.....he had a true musical talent, that's for sure....he's ok...
