my computer screen constantly "twitches" any idea what could cause it to do so. Its a new screen and cpu.

not sure but my cell phone does that to mine

You're getting electromagnetic interference that the monitor cannot filter out. This usually occurs in cheaply made monitors.

it could be your video adapter, or if your using a crt monitor, change the refresh rate to as high as possible.

sounds like the gun is failing. If it's new, try to get a replacement. It will fail soon.
