My mom said the same thing when I was your age and my mom was very strict when I was growing up. I just came home one day with them done and she thought they were cute and I was getting my brows arched every since. The key is to be subtle with it; don't leave the house with thick eyebrows and come home with thin ones cause then she'll be mad no matter how cute they are. And always remember when it comes to something small like that, just go ahead and do it without asking because its better to ask for forgiveness then to ask for permission, that way you still get what you want.

Your mother is correct! What other people do or do not do is never a justification for your action!
What will it do to support character development? Your wanting to follow others just because they do it does not say much for your maturity!
If they all tell a lie in class, will you also lie so that they will like your lying for them? Actually they will not like you more, they
will just feel that your morals are on the same low level as theirs.
It is way past time for you to put YOUR ethics, virtue, integrity, morals and responsibility values in place! Notice I used the word YOURS!
If you let them be your guide to living, interacting with others and NEVER sell or compromise them, you will find that you will gain the respect of adults but maybe not everyone in your peer group.
That is because everyone in your peer group does not respect integrity, morality or fair play!
Listen to your mother, she did not reach her age by being stupid!
Too, she is the parent and your are the child, and she would be a very poor mother if she allowed outsiders to influence her decisions about you!

What is her reasoning? Does she want you to have a uni brow? Or are your eyebrows naturally shaped and look nice? Either way, tell her that you want them waxed. She can go with you. She can tell the person how to do it. Maybe she thinks it's too expensive so,shop around.

I don't think you are too young for that. Your mother should be thanking God that you aren't asking for a tattoo, piercings, or condoms lol. Just do them yourself by plucking them or buying wax. Decide on what look is good for you and go for it. If your mother gets mad about it, tell her it's to improve your self-esteem, and that it's nothing drastic like applying a ton of make-up. Your just working with what the Good Lord gave you.

tell her you get teased or you feel ugly. (btw im SURE youre the hottest babe on the planet) but things like that make them reconsider. dont be annoying aobut it or she wont give in. try to be genuinly sad about the subject. good luck!
