We always bake a cake and the kids decorate it all on their own. They can put on candles if they want to. After a Christmas meal we sing Happy Birthday to Jesus. We then eat some cake.
We also have a stocking that says Jesus. The idea is to give Jesus a gift of a good deed that you do. So around Christmas time we write something on a piece of paper, share our answer and then put the paper in the stocking. I think it will be fun to read them years down the road. (holding the door open for someone, Helping a person that had crutches carry their popcorn in the movie theature.) things like that.

I have a good time Christmas as a social gathering of Jesus Christ's start. We have a good time it at the twenty fifth December for quite a lot of explanations however Christians do recognise that it will not be the unique day of his start! Christmas manner Christ Mass, and the abbreviated of Xmas remains to be a Christian sort because the X is the primary letter of Christ within the Greek language. If you think Christmas is just too commercialized all you must do is have a good time the day in a useful manner and no longer become a member of in the entire extra that Christmas now brings. God bless you

honor your fellow man and do something unselfish to help another as Christ did. Religion should be the influence not the focus. Christ sacrafice was a sacrafice for his "children". That is why gifts are given. The gift is symbolic of the gift that christ gave to us. To make christianity the center of the holiday you must tell the story and demonstrate the unselfish act. You don't give a gift because it is expected you give a gift to demonstrate the act of compassion. Others see your example and implement it in their homes. The message is demonstrated with an act not a sermon.
Simply: You lead by example.

Reaching out to the poor and needy, gathering with family, reading from the Bible the Christmas story, Luke chapter 2 as we all gather around. And most important, try and remember Christmas should be celebrated year around.

Christ has nothing to do with Christmas. It is really just a co-opting of a pagan holiday, which celebrates winter solstice, when people drew together and celebrated the wonder of living thru the winter. I celebrate the wonder of living thru the year... Since it is usually so hard!

We do advent every night in December (advent is like a Christmas devotional). And every year we go to the Christmas Eve service at our church. We also do a lot of volunteering along with our church.

We always put up the nativity scene in the front yard and a small beautiful one inside- and we draw names on one side of the family and donate to the charity if their choice-D
