Years and years ago Marlo Thomas was interviewed in TV Guide. She said her father taught her the following poem. It isn't great literature and I remembered it even though I didn't particularly try to; but its mildly inspiring:

Can't is a word that is foe to ambition
an enemy ambush to shatter your will
Its prey is forever a man with a mission
It bows but to courage and patience and skill

So hate it with hatred that's deep and undying
for once it is welcomed 'twill fall any man
and whatever the goal is you're seeking keep trying
and answer this demon by saying, "I can".

Preparation is the greatest comfort that puts one at ease. One can go to a place with experience instead of feeling like a stranger. If you are prepared don't worry, your familiarity will surely kick in.
