I see a lot of gay men wear them, so I was just wondering. Does it mean anything if women wear them?

No. Body modification is becoming much more common to the point that stereotypes about it are, if not gone, completely wrong anymore.

well...I think a lot of people associate too much to tings....the only way I'd say it means someone's gay would be if it's coloure din the pride colours . i have known some straight guys with industrial piercings also and some wouldn't appreciate having a guy trying to pick them up....

Yes. Also you can become a homosexual just from having them. No, I have found there are no strict rules about this. Used to be, having your left ear pierced meant you are a homosexual but that is not true anymore so much.

For some people it carries a meaning, and for other people it means nothing. It is up to the individual to place a meaning on the piercing.

Not that I am aware of... unless perhaps those earrings are rainbow colored then there might be a question...
I know plenty of pierced folks both gay and straight that have these sorts of piercings...
