YA is sooo addictive? This is the first question I've asked, b/c I need to know! Is a quarter til 2 in the am and what am I doing? Watching cartoons and playing around in YA. You think there's subliminal messages that make us say 'just one more question'? I need to know!

A few reasons. Its much easier to vent frustrations and to argue a point when you don't have to do it face to face. One of the biggest fears that people can have is a fear of public speaking. Also it has an almost game like quality to it with the point system to it that gives prestige and better gifts to higher levels. If that wasn't what was intended then everyone would be level 7 immediately. They say its earned but I haven't violated any rules and I see people on the top complaining that they don't know what rule they violated. Does that mean that I should have their spot and that they should have mine, no. But obviously its supposed to be fun and its supposed to reward otherwise there would be no reason for it.

Ya I am addicted. I have all this alcohol to drink, but I choose Yahoo answers instead. It's sad really I don't understand it's attraction. I don't care about the points and most of the time the questions suck but this goddam addiction.

i think of there is an somewhat stable risk that extraterrestrial beings exist, given the reality the universe is super and becoming! i do no longer think of they pay us visits in UFOs - given the distances and that i do no longer think of they abduct human beings, maximum of that have could be defined with the help of sleep paralysis and that i do no longer see why they might (yet who knows!?) I have not have been given any thought why some human beings think of they do no longer, possibly because of fact they see the parameters for clever life as being too precise, even extinction activities too few and you're caught in a rut, too many and life does not get everywhere.

I was that way when I first started asking and answering. Now, though, I get bored very easily and usually hang around for less than an hour a day.

I think you have the right idea. YA is addictive because you can reply to questions, and not deal with consequences or ridicule pertaining to your answer.
