i asked at my phone place they say turn the phone volume down while on the call this may help . maybe need a phone with out the bluetooth or does bluetooth just make it able to go with a headset and has nothing to do with reception .
i have not had this problem til i have gotten this new phone so it is not the cell company and isnt a cheap phone either .. but it is very annoying and always have to say what to the person over and over really sucks ..any suggestions would help

This really depends.

This break up of voices over calls can be either from moving around too or walking fast while on phone, passing through a bridge, aircrafts flying, service problems or weak battery- just a few mentioned. IF none of these are the reason then there very well may be a fault with the phone and I think you should take it back and change it.

I feel that it is something to do with your new phone only.

I own a bluetooth phone which 2 year back, i never have this problem. For the latest phone, it should have less problem on this issue.

Of course, if you are using bluetooth headset and you are a distance from your phone, you will receive broken due to signal not strong enough to hold on.
