I have a raised bump on the left side of my labia that is yellowish in color and keeps getting bigger. It almost seems like a cyst of some kind or maybe even a tumor. Any ideas what it is?

I had something that might be like that "under" the skin, fairly deep, painless, and perfectly round like a large pea... I could sort of even grab it and move it around. Couldn't see what color it had; it was too deep beneath the skin. My midwife examined it, and said she used to have one too and it went away - she thought some sort of benign cyst. Well, mine has gone away now too. I never did find out what it was. It came up before I got pregnant and was probably there for months or even years, barely ever noticed it; it got bigger when I was pregnant; and now (seven months postpartum) I can't feel it at all. Sorry I can't help you with what it is, but I thought if yours sounds like mine, it might make you less worried.

I advise, it would not help if "maximum" of the boys are sparkling - you basically choose one with a ailment to capture it. certainly, nonetheless, it would not sound very corresponding to an STD. If it have been herpes, it may be painful, and that i'm assuming that if it have been a wart, you may comprehend it. no longer something fairly motives bumps like that. it must be a pimple, or perchance a microcut (have you ever pulled out a dry tampon at present or been noticeably tough these days?). If it would not go away interior of each week, see your surgeon, yet till then i would not complication approximately it. P.S. Andy S is powerful related to the sebaceous gland.

Yes women get these cysts all the time. They are glands there that get blocked and get filled with fluid. Sometimes they drain on there own and sometines they need to be lanced and drained. It will keep getting bigger if you don't see yout doctor. If it hasn't gotten painful it probably will. Since the gland is blocked the discharge is probably getting infected and they will put you on antibiotics first to see if they can reduce the size of the blocked gland with that first. If that doesn't work, they will need to lance it and take out all the fluid out.

Try putting warm moist towels to get the gland to open, sometimes it can open up and start draining on thier own. Or soak in a warm tub with some epsom salt.

I hope this helps, but overall address this to your doctor, if it takes awhile to get in, use the moist warm cloth and warm baths.

Get to a doctor as soon as possible!

There is a definite possibility of it being a tumor, you need to get it checked out. It most likely is not cancer but you need to find out for sure right away! The longer you wait the worse it could get.

Most likely, the sooner you get it checked out, the sooner you will find out that it is not a danger and you can relax.

Good luck.
