Sounds like a cool thing to do. I think most of my dreams seem quite real, how do u think that differs from "lucid"?

Heck yeah I am. I was able to do it as a child. Work and what not gets in the way nowadays.
The Lucid Dreamer is a good overview and introduction to Lucid Dreaming. It also has some techniques.
Have an Out of Body Experience in 30 Days in an interesting book about "astral projection." I'm not really into the new age thing but it seems like a way to push the limits of your lucid dreams.
And if you encounter the white light between dream and sleep you may wish to check out the The Tibetan Yogas of Dream and Sleep.
The Tibetan Yogas of Dream and Sleep is an informative book.
Meditation, Qi Gong/Martial Arts, diet, exercise, vitamin B, and keeping a dream journal seem to make these lucid dreams better. Cut back on the coffee and alcohol.
If you start to loose the lucid dream twirling in circles like a spinning top helps "recenter" your focus. Light switches and mirrors in your dreams are good trigger points and double checking numbers and words when your awake will build the habit to do so in your dreams (they always switch and words are almost impossible to hold onto in a dream). Happy flying superman but don't just limit yourself to simple pleasures. Your waking world and dream world should get pretty interesting.....

Yeah, I do it all the time. In my dreams, I finish school and become a famous artist, sometimes I'm a musician or sometimes an actress. It depends. And then I meet a bunch of celebrities in my dreams. It's pretty cool.

If I'm having a bad dream I tell myself to wake up before it turns into a nightmare,I guess it's pretty cool!

I had one in which somebody kidnapped me and was going to kill me. I was scared, but thought, “Wait a minute! This is a dream! I just need to wake up,” and that’s what I did.
