Before you got the money....This was 21 months ago and i am afraid someone is going to report me.

If you werent dishonest you wouldnt be worrying about it now would you so go forth from now on, learn your lesson, quit worrying about it and be honest from here on out. GEEZ

That would depend upon whether you cost the other person any money defending the action. If it was a false claim and the other person had to hire a lawyer, etc., they can come back at you for that money and they can file charges against you. Otherwise, if nothing happened, then you should be OK. As long as none of it was every in writing of any kind, like a notice of intent to sue from your lawyer to them.

You bet your boots you can. Whether or not you are charged will depend on the value of the claim, the reason for filing, the reason for withdrawing, and the will of the company. One of the companies I place with will prosecute each and every false claim, withdrawn or not. Often times, withdrawn false claims are filed for future reference, and not prosecuted. I would think if you don't hear by the end of 2 years, it means it will disappear. good luck.

Whether you received money or not isn't the pivotal answer. The point is that you knowingly filed a false claim. That's the part that's insurance fraud.

if there mean they can report you! they migth not care because the still have there money but you can get in trouble!!! fraud!!! look and rea your state penal code that is your laws of your state. its like speeding and slowing down because you realized it was wrong you still comitted the crime cuz the judge wont know if you stoped cuz you knew you were going to get couth thats there firsth thing you will need to prove
